Hear what Mario Andretti has to say about Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, the new entertainment attraction visitors have been speeding to since its September debut.

Spearheaded by racing legend Mario Andretti, Orlando’s latest attraction — Andretti Indoor Karting & Games — is all about having a great time. “[Orlando] is the center of entertainment,” Andretti said of the new venture. “Would we want to be anywhere else rather than here? No.” But take note: These aren’t your father’s go-karts — unless you’re one of Mario’s children, that is. Read on to see why even this championship racer was excited to get behind the wheel at Andretti Indoor Karting.

“You can let your hair down right off,” says Andretti about the attraction’s marquee vehicles. “The karts are really, really good. There’s good grip on them. You can find your way into the proper line and so forth.” Andretti’s referring to the SODI RTX Superkarts, the best high-speed electric karts in the industry. Designed to be ergonomic, safe and environmentally friendly, they also pack some serious torque.

In addition to the Superkarts, Andretti features a professionally designed, multi-level, modular track developed exclusively for Orlando. Normally, the layout is broken into three distinct tracks. When combined, they form the world’s largest indoor karting track, boasting more banked turns and elevation changes than anywhere else.

“The tracks are fabulous — really fun,” Andretti adds. “The elevations are really, really something different. And the elevated corners — you can pull some G’s through there.”
