Top 12 Places to See Santa in Orlando

Looking for Santa Claus this holiday season? You’ll find him and Mrs. Claus all over town when you visit Orlando!

With the holiday season in full swing, it’s easy to find ways to get in the Christmas spirit — but nothing beats a visit with Santa Claus himself! If you’ll be in Orlando this holiday season, you’ll find ample opportunities to see the jolly old elf and his wife, including at these 12 magical locations.

Walt Disney World Resort: You won’t have to look hard to find Santa here, as three Disney parks and Disney Springs are providing opportunities to see and meet Father Christmas himself. These include:

  • Magic Kingdom: Find Santa daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Candy Cane Garden, which is next to Town Hall on Main Street. Additionally, Santa flies high above the ground in his sleigh during “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,” which is included with admission to the separate-ticketed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
  • Epcot: Through Dec. 20, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will appear at the American Adventure Pavilion at various times throughout the day.
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: At Once Upon a Time on Sunset Boulevard, Santa will be on hand to hear your Christmas wishes through Dec. 24.
  • Disney Springs: Travel the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney’s dining, shopping and entertainment district through Dec. 24, and you’ll find Kris Kringle at Santa’s Chalet.

Universal Orlando Resort: As part of Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s, Santa shares the spotlight with the Minions and popular characters from Madagascar and Shrek at Universal Studios Florida. If you prefer a Grinch-ier take on Saint Nick, catch The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Both events run through Jan. 6.

SeaWorld Orlando: During SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration, which runs through Dec. 31, Santa Claus will be on hand for meet-and-greets at Wild Arctic.

Legoland Florida Resort: Meet a life-sized Lego Santa, plus a Lego Toy Soldier, as part of Legoland’s Christmas Bricktacular, which runs through Dec. 25.

The Mall at Millenia: Through Dec. 24, the Santa Photo Experience gives you and your family the chance to meet Santa and take photos in a magical setting. (Paid photo options are also available.) The mall is approximately 15 minutes from Universal.

Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center: Starting at 10 a.m. daily until Dec. 24, you can get your photo taken with Santa as part of the Photo With Santa ticketed event. It pairs nicely with the resort’s Ice! Featuring Christmas Around the World extravaganza.

Light Up the Holidays at Cranes Roost Park: Santa and Mrs. Claus preside over this free festival, which starts at 5 p.m. on Dec. 2. The park is located in Altamonte Springs, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando.

Light Up UCF: On select nights through Dec. 31, University of Central Florida’s ticketed holiday event offers photos with Santa, among other seasonal festivities. The university is about 20 minutes from downtown Orlando.

Now Snowing: Just minutes from Disney in Celebration, this free, nightly event features photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus snowfall and other entertainment. The festivities run through Dec. 31.
