As preparations continue for the International Peace and Film Festival (IPFF) on January 18-20, 2018, the event has announced an upcoming addition of a visual and performing arts exhibition, called Artifex.
The art exhibition will include a competition in similarity to the international films featured in the festival, with awards and recognition for participants. Artifex will present a traditional gallery at the festival with an added ‘virtual art wall’ for overseas exhibits that could not be physically present at the 2019 show.
“Artifex will expand the cultural exchange of the overall festival, and bring more people together to engage in peace through art, film and fashion,” said Jef Gray, IPFF director and founder “The entire collection of art will also be featured on PeaceFestival.us, and IPFF-TV, the official channel of the festival.”
A call for entries will open in June 2018, with exhibitions taking place at the 2019 International Peace and Film Festival. Aspiring artists can find out more at IPFF.us/Artifex
