Бесплатное1  приложение позволит обладателям iPhone, iPad и iPod наслаждаться эксклюзивным контентом веб-сайта www.FloridaRussian.com.

• Просматривать эксклюзивные иллюстрации к статьям и фотографии мероприятий. Эта функция доступна только через приложение Journal для пользователей iPhone.

‘1 Как установить бесплатное приложение, не предоставляя информацию кредитной карты

Если Вы хотите скачивать приложения с iTunes без кредитной карты, выполните следующие действия:
1. Откройте приложение iTunes на своем компьютере.
2. Выберите “iTunes Store” в меню слева. Вам откроется главная страница магазина iTunes Store.
3. В раскрывающемся списке нижней части главной страницы iTunes Store выберите страну США (United States).
4. Нажмите кнопку “Top Free Apps”.
5. После загрузки страницы нажмите на кнопку ” Get App “. Вам высветится регистрационное окно.
6. Нажмите на кнопку “create account” (создать новую учетную запись).
7. Заполните почтовый адрес в США и нажмите «continue» (продолжить). Если Вы не знаете адрес в США, Вы можете использовать адрес любого американского магазина Apple, выбрав его из списка на http://www.apple.com/retail/ .
8. Предоставив почтовый адрес в США, Вы перейдете на страницу метода оплаты. Выберите “None” и завершите регистрацию.
9. Congratulations ! Учетная запись в iTunes Store создана! Теперь из любой точки мира Вы можете загружать бесплатные приложения, доступные для американских пользователей мобильных устройств корпорации Apple.

Примечание: Если Вы попробуете создать учетную запись через окно «logon», Вы не сможете выбрать “None” как метод оплаты и будете вынуждены указать детали Вашей кредитной карты.

Florida Russian Lifestyle Magazine was notified by Apple Inc. today that their iPhone application “Journal” was approved and is now  available in the App Store. The free application enables iPhone, iPad and iPod users to enjoy exclusive Russian content and functionality from FloridaRussian.com’s website. “This is the first Russian Magazine Application approved by Apple, and we’re excited not only to have our Magazine available as an app, but to be the first to achieve it!”, said Jef Gray, CEO of American Experience (publisher of Florida Russian Lifestyle Magazine). “We know the future of magazines is moving to the digital platform, and we’re ready to offer that kind of interactive experience to our readers and advertisers.”

The Journal App has the following features:

• Read the latest content in an optimized reading space, designed specifically for Apple mobile devices.
• Find the geographic location of each article on a map including your current location to allow for easy guidance to that address.
• View exclusive images from our articles and events, this is a special feature only available to our iPhone App readers.
• Post a comment. You can write any comment you like and it will be shared with our readers on our fan page. All submissions will be reviewed before appearing on the site.
• Video: View the video playlist on our YouTube channel! We’ve collected a list of favorite videos submitted by our writers and fans and you can see them all right from your Apple mobile device.

How to install the free App without using a credit card in iTunes

Here are the simple steps to follow:

1. Launch iTunes application on your computer
2. Select “iTunes Store” from the left side panel options; displays iTunes Store home page.
3. Select United States as your location from the country selection drop down menu available at the bottom of the page
4. After choosing the country, click on “Top Free Apps” section
5. When the application’s page is loaded – click on “Get App” button; login window will appear.
6. Click on the “create account” button
7. Fill out US address details and click on continue. If you don’t know any valid US address you can use Apple US retail store address by pointing your browser to http://www.apple.com/retail/ and choosing a store from the list available in the page
8. After submitting valid US postal address details, iTune Store registration takes you to payment mode page.  Here choose the option “None” and finish the registration.
9. You will now see the congratulation page.You’re done! Your iTunes Store account is created without credit card and from now onwards you can download all the free applications available to US users from any country.

Note: If you try and create an account directly from the logon box, you will be missing the option called “None” in the payment page, and you end up in compulsory submitting your credit card details.
